Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
PRP is an autologous regenerative treatment derived from a small sample of your own blood. The blood is processed in a centrifuge to isolate and concentrate platelets containing growth factors and signaling proteins involved in tissue repair, collagen production, and cellular regeneration.
When used on the skin, PRP may support collagen remodeling, healing, and overall skin quality. When injected into the scalp, PRP may help support follicular activity and improve hair density in appropriate candidates experiencing early-stage hair thinning.
PRP Hair Restoration

Two Treatments
PRP Facial
PRP facial treatments are designed to support skin regeneration and collagen remodeling. They may help improve the appearance of uneven texture, dullness, fine lines, and certain types of acne scarring.
PRP may be combined with microneedling to enhance the skin’s natural repair response and stimulate collagen production.
PRP Hair Restoration
PRP hair restoration involves administering concentrated platelet-rich plasma into targeted areas of the scalp.
Growth factors released from activated platelets may support follicular function, prolong the active growth phase of the hair cycle, and improve hair density and thickness in suitable candidates. PRP is generally most appropriate for early hair thinning where viable hair follicles are still present.
How It Works
Blood Collection : A small blood sample is collected using a standard venipuncture technique.
Centrifugation :The sample is processed in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelet-rich plasma from other blood components.
Treatment Application For facial treatments, PRP may be used alongside microneedling or administered according to the individualized treatment plan. For hair restoration, PRP is delivered through targeted micro-injections into the scalp.
Treatment Series Treatment protocols are individualized. A commonly recommended initial series consists of approximately 3–4 sessions spaced about one month apart, followed by maintenance treatments when clinically appropriate.
Why Ray Aesthetics ?
Medical Oversight : Treatments are provided under appropriate medical oversight and performed by trained clinicians.
Sterile Technique : Single-use, sterile equipment is used for blood collection and treatment procedures.
Evidence-Informed Treatment Planning : PRP produces gradual biological changes rather than immediate transformation. Treatment recommendations and expected outcomes are discussed based on your individual concerns and clinical assessment.
Combination Treatment Options : When treating acne scars or textural concerns, PRP may be incorporated into a broader treatment plan alongside procedures such as microneedling or subcision when clinically appropriate
Common Inquiries
1. WHAT IS PRP?
Is there any downtime?
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) uses your body's own growth factors to naturally stimulate collagen production, rejuvenate the skin, and promote healthier, thicker hair growth.
For optimal results, most patients require 3–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments every 6–12 months
PRP hair restoration uses your own plasma to stimulate dormant hair follicles, encouraging gradual, natural regrowth over a series of sessions results vary by individual.
Because PRP is prepared from your own blood, the risk of an allergic reaction to the PRP itself is considered low. Temporary effects may include redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, or sensitivity at the treatment or injection sites. As with any procedure involving injections or skin penetration, additional risks will be reviewed before treatment
2. How many treatments will I need?
3. Is Prp safe?
4. Does PRP hair restoration actually regrow hair?
